James comes from the technology sector having worked across business development and management for a Dunedin based technology company. His interest in the professional services sector is that it can have a very real impact on clients being successful, and technology is helping make this happen.
James is heavily involved in sport, currently as a Trustee for Sport Otago and advising the New Zealand Olympic Committee in his role on the Olympian Association. James is currently coach of the John McGlashan 1st XI hockey team, player coach for the Kings United Hockey Club, and supports his two young children develop their hockey skills.
Outside of work and organised sport James likes to spend his time riding mountain bikes with his family and relaxes by brewing mostly drinkable beer.
